Scott
Mulholland is an award-winning
watercolorist and art instructor at
Tacoma
Community College and the
Seabury
School
for gifted children. He also conducts art therapy
and wellness sessions for healing adults - and watercolor workshops for
students of all ages in his Stadium District studio.
Scott emigrated to the Pacific Northwest in 1982 from Ayr,
Scotland, and lives in the
North End of Tacoma with his wife and twin boys. He celebrates
the beauty of life through his paintings, which hang in private
collections in Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Scotland,
Tokyo,
and New Zealand.
Rock Hushka - curator of the Tacoma Art Museum - recently selected Scott's "Red, White and
Blue" painting as Best in Show at the SPSCC Regional Juried Art
Competition. This honor includes a month-long solo show at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the
Arts Gallery on the South Puget Sound Community College campus in
October 2008.
